2020-02-06: Update 4: Great Minds
Introducing Leaders: we added ten varied personalities to lead the wasteland societies you will discover on the world map, all with their own goals and ideologies. Revamped tech trees: 79 technologies to choose from to shape the development of your Colony! Improved Graphics: New colonist model, improved lighting… Surviving the Aftermath has never looked better!

2020-01-09: Update 3: Expeditions
We just released a new update for Surviving the Aftermath, called “Expeditions”. This update’s highlights are Vehicles, a feature that was highly requested by our community, and there is a lot of new content for you to try out!

2019-12-05: Update 2: Outposts
This time it’s more about the World Map and what you can do there. We’ve added Societies, Outposts, Trading and improved visuals of the map view itself. A variety of balance changes should make living the post-apocalyptic life more interesting. Our programmers have also found and fixed several causes for the stuck colonist bug.

2019-11-11: Update 1: The Colony
The Colony Update is all about your village in the middle of the apocalypse. In this update, we wanted to concentrate on making the colony-building part deeper with new buildings, gameplay enhancements, balance improvements, and a few nasty – but hopefully interesting – surprises to challenge your colony-building skills. We are happy to say that some of the features are already implemented based on requests from the community after the launch.

MAIN FEATURES
No Place Like Home
Build and manage a colony of survivors after a world-ending event. Construct more than 50 unique buildings to handle everything from resource collection and farming to exploration and security. Don’t forget to construct the Gate to venture into the savage world beyond your colony.

Surviving Earth
Explore a vast procedurally generated world featuring six different biomes filled with exploitable resources, bandits, and more. Each environment has different conditions that will affect your colony’s survival. Stay vigilant: Natural disasters will put your survivors to the test.

Survival Is My Specialty
Recruit over 46 unique Specialists, each with their own skills and motivations, to manage your colony’s resources and production. Send them beyond the Gate on scientific missions, scavenger runs, and to fight bandits.

Expect The Unexpected
Life in the aftermath requires you to make moral choices. You may not be able to control everything in your colony, but how you respond to situations and emergent events will shape the character of your new civilization.

Mods
Surviving the Aftermath players can bring their own visions to life using Paradox Mods.

With Surviving the Aftermath, we want to get the community involved early in the game’s development. New content incorporating your feedback will be added regularly throughout the Early Access period. We’re excited to embark on this adventure with our players as we work together to make this game reach its full potential.
