The Door to the Void has opened! The corrupt power it contained has engulfed Petrichor V and plunged the planet into darkness. For millennia, the Creatures of the Void have been growing more aggressive, taking our artifacts into their realm. Now they want to take you too!
Set out on the adventure with your friends! Only one player with Survivors of the Void is required to activate the in-game monsters, levels, and items for the entire lobby. Players without Survivors of the Void cannot select the two new survivors or permanently unlock new items, logbooks, and other content.
Survivor 1: Try Your Hand with the Railgunner
Increase the pressure from an elevated position. Fire ferociously across the map with the Railgunner’s first-person scope. Plan your weapon reloads, target weak spots, and change the battlefield. The Railgunner is relentless against bosses. Instead of clearing hordes, eliminate the target with a single shot.
To fully utilize the Railgunner’s potential, you’ll need to master the weapon’s positioning and movement. Place a Concussion Device to reach a porthole or escape a difficult situation. Survivors of the Void players have immediate access to the Railgunner.
Survivor 2: Master the Corruption with the Void Fiend
Use the corruption to your advantage and harness the power of the Void. A corrupt commander is torn between controlling his new powers or being consumed by them. The Void Fiend is the second new Survivor in Survivors of the Void. As the corruption takes hold of you, your abilities temporarily become more powerful attacks.
Drown your enemies with a flood of beams and missiles and master new movement possibilities. Coordinate your corruption, master the void, and unleash the Void Fiend. Unlock the Void Fiend when you defeat a new threat in Survivors of the Void.
Wield powerful Void items
Corrupt familiar items and unlock new powers! Receiving one of the 14 Void items permanently alters all normal versions of that item. Corruption brings not only power, but also change. You’ll find that many items now do the opposite of what they did before. The Void’s catchy ukulele melody now targets a single enemy instead of a group. Some items do something completely different!
Unlock 5 pieces of equipment, 4 lunar items, and 17 common items in Survivors of the Void.
Fight horrific monsters… and the Gup
The creatures of Providence are on the loose, and they’re not happy about their world being threatened. The gelatinous Gup is back, and he’s brought friends from the depths of Petrichor V. Beware of this adorable orange abomination: get too close and he’ll likely send you over a cliff.
The most powerful creatures hail from the Void. Your ability to reach the Void is a threat. This invasion will not go unpunished. Simulacra of immense power and corrupted minds have been sent to capture you. Discover the source of their power and, if you can, take the battle to them.
New Levels Available
Unknown locations have been discovered in Petrichor V! Journey through new levels, discover their secrets and infiltrate the Void. Explore the magnificent waterfalls of the Aphelian Sanctuary, smell the acidic scent of the Sulfur Pools and enjoy ice skating in the Siphoned Forest.
