I did this run on a romhack that allows the second player to save and load states. So I did every room until I was satisfied with it, and then I went back and edited together the video to create a cohesive run. Frames got lost in editing (to the tune of 300-400) due to the way that the romhack worked I had to take out roughly 1-2 gameplay frames per room that I saved in (which was nearly every room). Therefore, the gameplay isn't my ABSOLUTE best that I could do because I didn't want the times to be altered by the editing process at all.

Phantoon was a fast/slow pattern, if it was a fast/fast this could have saved 11 more seconds, so a 42:xx IS possible, but will almost certainly never be done on this route without some significantly different strategies.

I state this in the video as well, but just to reiterate, game time is NOT accurate on this. I had to go back and re-do some sections of the game, so there was actually more game time that happened than what you see in the finished video. This is regrettable, but I'm much less interested in game time. It likely would have been on the cusp between a 0:27 and 0:28 though, which with a fast phantoon would have definitely been a 0:27.
