Simple can opener, time-tested and works well
I had the exact same can opener that I think the local Business Costco sold for a fraction of the price, but they stopped carrying it. The old one got put through the dishwasher and ever since then had major rust problems on the blade, so I bought this new one. It's a solid, old-fashioned can opener and it works quite well. The blade is sharp enough that opening most cans is easy.
Just don't put it in the dishwasher or leave acidic or salty liquids on it. I recommend running water over the blade after every time you use it, shaking it off, then leaving it in the open position in your drawer or whatever until it dries. If you do that, it should last a long time.
