Switch - 1993 Shenandoah (2020) Unreleased Amiga Shmup
18This Amiga shoot 'em up was scheduled for a 1993 release but the project collapsed and the Swedish dev team parted company, 27 years later it was finally finished and released on the Nintendo Switch. It uses the original Amiga graphics, sound and effects created all those years ago by the team, I don't know if the Amiga version would've run as well as it does on the Switch but it certainly looks and feels the part! Would it have stood up to the likes of other top shmups that were around in 1993 like Projext X, Disposable Hero, Stardust etc? I think it would, it's fun and the graphics are class! Lots of ships and weapons are available which can be upgraded and customized, it also supports 4 player gameplay. There's 15 levels of enemies to blast through, here's a quick look at a few of em....
