The Nintendo Switch 2 media blitz has been a mix of good and bad. So much to be excited about, however there does seem to be a few baffling decisions scattered about as well. For one, the choice to have a physical button on every switch 2 controller dedicated to the new voice chat functionality. Now this is a great feature to finally have, but it is attached to Nintendo Switch online, so after April 2026, this button only works if you are subscribed. What are our thoughts on this?
