(2:32) Intro cutscene.
The Equinox arrives at the Nova rich Atlas System, an area once held and mined by the Forgotten Legion.
St. Grant, who knows how to manufacture Nova, found alien Judge back on Earth. Together with 5 others, they are the Starlink Initiative. Their mission is to determine Judge's origins. It looks like the alien believes they can find some answers on Atlas via the acquisition of artifacts known to be there.
Nova is a rare but highly efficient form of fuel that allows for interstellar travel. Thus, Grant knowing how to make more made him a target for the Legion, who had recently returned to the system.
The Starfox team had arrived at the system and they to have been entangled with the Legion as they search for their old Nemesis Wolf.
