Some notes:
New ability from Valerie must be used first, the sword icon then summon stronger mercenaries.
You control Valerie and 1 Tempest Unit, Edda, Faycal, and one papal priest and one allied defender. clear out the enemies in front while getting those bags nearby with a blue tile. To get the 2 merchants in extinguishing have the healer heal them and any summoned dancers from Valerie will AOE cleanse, Edda's wine barrel DOES NOT CLEANSE.
Free mode - substantially easier, simply bring some healers to and slowly make your way to the top to win with your stronger units.

Yasumi Matsuno looked forward to this game and was interviewed by the game director who is a fan of Matsuno's work, score was done by Hitoshi Sakimoto who composed past FFT/TO games from before so its got a very tactics ogre-like gameplay.
The SRPG component is a full fledged campaign within called Spiral of Destinies. Honestly without the gacha I would've called this a JRPG.
