I kept experiencing bits of items that reminded me of older games from the 16-bit era, and while the hints of nostalgia were fantastic, the game itself is not balanced around playing by yourself, rather you are supposed to use the monsters, which took me an uncomfortably long time to get used to. I'm still not very good, but I'll definitely give this at least a couple more streams before I get upset at not making regular progress and turn on the no losing progress options, which I can already tell I will deeply appreciate being present.
