Eric Musco today posted a very important statement. He made it perfectly clear that Bioware doesn't want players to stack Crates and not open them right away. That is why with Patch 5.2 this April all the crates you have from before the update will still have the same old drop-rate. New crates that you obtain after 5.2 launches, now these will have the new and improved drop rating.
