I love the soundtrack in Syberia 1 by Dimitri Bodiansky and Nicolas Varley! Syberia is developed by Microïds. It is about a lawyer named Kate Walker. The first level you explore in the game is Valdeline, a town full of automatons. The most well-known automaton in Syberia is Oscar. Most of the names of the locations in the game are pretty Eastern European, names like Barrockstadt, Komkolzgrad, and Aralbad. I thought Syberia 1 was better than Syberia 2. I'm hoping that when Microïds /Anuman Interactive release Syberia 3, the soundtrack will be good and that the storyline is less centered on the wilderness.

Syberia seems to be a bigger name than some of Microïds' other titles like Dracula 3, Egypt, and Amerzone. But, like most adventure games, Syberia has a niche audience - players who are willing to take the time to solve complicated puzzles. On the plus side, the puzzles in Syberia are way easier to solve than the puzzles in the Myst series - those are hard! One reason why Syberia is such a great franchise for Microïds is because of Benoit Sokal. The most recent game that's come out that has amazing graphics is Journey for PS3 - it has an amazing score by Austin Wintory!
