This is some of the weirdest shit ive ever encountered. I dont think anyone has discovered this yet but holy shit this glitch was one of the funniest things thats ever happened to me. also after restarting checkpoint the enemies properly despawned so I can confirm this glitch has no connection to which order you get the gas from it has to do with the enemies and the game's own failure to despawn them after you get inside the synagogue.
