This is my industrial remake of the original Syndicate (1993) soundtrack. A game that was ahead of its time in many ways, it was not trying to appeal to a mass audience, oh no, but it appealed anyway. They knew what was cool, and they jacked into that feeling. Dark, difficult, and brutal, just the way we liked it. For me, it is a return to my industrial and ambient roots, so it was a particular pleasure to work on this soundtrack, and it brought back a lot of great memories.
This game was so successful that it was ported to a bevy of different machines spanning all the way to the PSP, got an expansion in Syndicate: American Revolt, a sequel in Syndicate Wars, and a modern reboot just entitled Syndicate again. One thing's for sure, the memories it left behind were acid-burned into our brains. Syndicate was one of the early cyberpunk games to really get it right.
