I've just had the SYNTAKT for a short while, but it's already grown on me as a centerpiece for quick electronic music performances. In this video you will see the Syntakt in a great synth combination with the Poly D! The Syntakt handles the majority of sounds, but the chord stabs are from the Poly D which is triggered via midi from track 8 on the Syntakt!
I just LOVE this synth combination.
If you're new to Elektron gear, the Syntakt is a 12 track drum computer and synthesizer with 8 digital tracks and 4 analog tracks. Each track can also be transformed into a pure midi track if you want to control external gear, like a Poly D from Behringer. ;)
In the next video I'll explain how the sounds was made on the Syntakt. I think this track is a great example since it's using many of the features of the SYNTAKT, like: analog + digital tracks, effects, side chaining via the new analog FX unit, song mode, keyboard fold + scales etc!
