SYNTHETIK 2 is an awesome game in development but still pretty early in development and needs more time to grow into something that can compete with the first game. Its similar yet it already sets itself apart from its predecessor in some important aspects, don't think that's a bad decision. Having two games with the same core concept but different execution is refreshing in the current industry climate where sequels are usually just the same game with a fresh coat of paint or something that doesn't even resemble what came before it. If you liked the first one, this is a definite buy. Different classes and sub-classes play and feel distinct. Different combinations of items, weapon types and their upgrades also make each run feel unique. In my opinion, second game made a step forward compared to the first one in those two aspects.
