This video essay sums up and explains System Shock 2 and the design choices that made it what it is.
In explaining this game, I hope to bring attention to the merit of the design and I'm additionally looking at where this game stands in the history of the Shock series.
The Shock Series is the spiritual thread that started with System Shock 1 and ended with Bioshock Infinite.
This series will delve into the evolution and dilution of this series's core and explore the times these games launched in.

It's a first person horror game set in the year 2114.
There's an alien(pretty much) hivemind, AI gone wrong, worms, you name it.
