It's October, so scary games are on the menu. Today, we get startled in space with System Shock.

The granddaddy of Bioshock is 1994's System Shock. An innovative first person, atmospheric horror RPG set aboard a space station that has been taken over by a hostile AI, SHODAN. You play as a hacker, a pathetic insect of meat and bone, daring to challenge a perfect, immortal machine.

1994 was a long time ago though, and System Shock hasn't aged super well. Thankfully, a small team is remaking it! This is just the demo of their efforts, and there is still no release date for the final version, but JD is still excited to check out what they have so far.

Disclaimer: Assuming it's like the original, this game contains heavy violence, gore, and potentially partial nudity (those pixels could've been anything). Also a possible seizure warning for flashing lights.
