DESCRIPTION: Welcome to Part 22 of “Old Features Call of Duty hasn’t had in Years”. Today’s feature is the Tactical Insertion. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was the first COD game to feature the Tac Insert, a very useful piece of equipment that would allow you to respawn wherever you placed it. The sniping community grew very fond of the tactical insertion, especially in Black Ops 2 where you could now cancel your tac insert spawn. Unfortunately, they have become much less useful since Modern Warfare 2019 and beyond since it got moved to the field upgrade slot; they now have a charge time and have to compete with much more useful field upgrades. It would be great to see the classic tactical insertion return in Call of Duty!
