Up first: Night Striker! Quite possible the most iconic Taito arcade game of all time...at least in my opinion! It's a third person shmup that is an absolute retrogaming gem of an arcade game! Taito made some absolute arcade hits but for my money Night Striker is video game history gold and the soundtrack by Zuntata is an absolute banger! Night Striker is just a gaming hidden gem!
The original cabinet used a flight stick so in some ways this is a flight sim lol
Original arcade PCBs are quite expensive but luckily this emulates very well in MAME. Emulation for the win! But I have had two Night Striker PCBs on my workbench over the years! And the Taito Z PCB is HUGE!
