Taiwan pt.2 [July 2019]

7/26 - 7/30
On my way back home to Seattle, I had a 5 day layover in Taiwan.
Unfortunately, it was around 100°F (~37°C) and stupid humid so I was very drained of energy but I did manage to see the places I wanted to.
♡7/28♡
♥On the 28th, I visited Longshan Temple around 10am.
♥After, I did some shopping in Ximending. There were some really cool places, including the Red House Theater. I got a ton of really cute hand made crafts from local artists there.
♥After that, I went back to my hotel to escape the heat and rest, and around 5pm, headed out to Jiufen, where I went to Ame Ocha Teahouse, the building that the bath house in Spirited Away is based on. The teahouse was wonderful and Jiufen and its views were absolutely beautiful.
♥On my way back to Taipei, I stopped at Songshan to go to the temple there and Raohe night market.

♥The heat really got to me the day before so I laid low until around 5, when I went to Shilin night market.
♥After, I went to Taipei 101, which was the tallest building in the world from 2004-2010.

♥I went to Taipei Taoyuan International Airport for my flight, and my gate was Hello Kitty themed! It was really cute.

I stayed in Seattle with my family from 7/31-8/26.
It'd been about 4 years since I had seen my friends so it was really great catching up. I went to the gum wall in Pike Place Market with some friends for nostalgia. ♡
