I was thinking about this today and I decided to time it. Turns out it is faster to skip the chicken suit but not by much. I managed to save 2 seconds in this clip but there are other factors which are not considered (such as different positioning/movement after getting Tak's 3rd torch or getting the Lok ghost torch while Tak is getting in the chicken). You could have better menuing to save even more time with the chicken skip route and I think I may have done an extra healy.

This route is not worth it. It only really saves time if you do it really fast and messing anything up is very costly. Not worth it in full game runs, it is an IL strat at best. I'm also not sure if it will be fast in a TAS setting as a TAS would utilise co-op.
