~ INFORMATIONEN ZUM SPIEL ~
Beim Käfersammeln findet Nathan einen verdächtig aussehenden Automaten und wirft Geld ein. Er erhält im Gegenzug dafür eine Kapsel, die er öffnet. Dort drin befindet sich Whsiper, ein Yo-kai, der ihm die Yo-kai Watch überreicht. Damit kann Nathan die Yo-kai, die Ähnlichkeiten mit Geistern haben, sichtbar machen. Nun ist es Nathans Aufgabe, sich mit den Yo-kai anzufreunden und deren Yo-kai Medaillen zu sammeln.
Beim Spiel handelt es sich um ein Rollenspiel. Man kann die Yo-kai aufleveln und so stärker für den Kampf gegen böse Yo-kai machen.
