We finally make it to the next shrine Rauru directed us to, and it's here that we get the Ascend ability. With Ascend, we are able to literally swim through ceilings and pop out on top of them. After this, we have to return to the Temple of Time... And boy oh boy, do I have trouble finding a simple way to get back over there.
But once we get there, we'll get a brand new ability and find out about a returning feature from Breath of the Wild.
