A casual peek into a "behind-the-scenes" of my process of taking a pic of my action figures! I was planning to take an action figure group pic of my favorite Super Sentai team, Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, when I realized that I had taken a total of 92 pics by the time I was done!

About half of the pics were planning and test shots, such as making sure the compositional layout of the figures was acceptable. Also, I was planning for the center of focus for the group shot.

Once all of the figures were placed, multiple shots were taken to ensure that at least several pics would have all (or most) of the figures in focus, since I had to hand-hold the camera instead of using my mini tripod (due to the low angle of the shot). Also, because of the macro setting, I had to find a reasonable depth of field to ensure all of the figures were reasonable clear (only Gokai Silver was intended to be slightly out of foucs).

Finally, I had about 30 of my pics to select from for my final pic. Since I don't have a camera capable of taking pics with an extreme aspect ratio, I had to edit the pic and crop it. I wanted to use a 4:1.5 aspect ratio (it fits Facebook Cover Photos nicely), but I think I ended up using a 2:1 aspect ratio instead.

Enjoy!
