Amata takes a look at Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack, which is an indie platformer from Drink Box Studios. This was a Playstation Vita game, but has now been ported over to the PC. In this game you play as a mutant blob who must eat various objects within the game world in order to grow large enough to bypass obstacles. Since this is a side scrolling platformer, there is quite a lot of exploration and navigation in order to find every edible object on a level. There are a lot of physics based puzzles, which is utilised not only with how the blob moves and can squish under large objects or through small openings, but with the use of a telekinesis mechanic that allows you to move certain objects around.
