In this I take a look at Zootfly's and Ubisoft's Expendables 2, the video game for the PC based on the new film. It is a top down for the most part action shooter, with heavy squad based elements allowing you to switch control of the various members of the Expendables squad. At the start of the game you can go between Barney Ross, Yin Yang, Hale Caesar and Gunner Jensen. Each squad member has their unique strengths and weaknesses, such as Caesar being able to blow up gates and other structures where as Jensen is a sniper and perfect for taking out long range enemies.
Expendables 2 the Video Game operates with experience, allowing you to upgrade your squad in various areas, including damage, health and also their weapons (and also pick up various weapons such as Rocket Launchers to take out tanks).
First we take a good look at the games options including the various graphics settings and the controls and then we delve into the action. After a run through the enemy camps in the first mission we take to the sky in a Helicopters and it is our duty to take out a train carrying illegal weapons. And in the next mission we are in deep jungle to rescue hostages. Can Jensen, Ross Yin Yang and Caesar make it through the game, or will they be Expendable?
