VS Basilisks (4th playthrough - Stahn Solo - Chaos Mode - No Items - No Death)

Do you think this battle was easy because it last like 30 secs or so? Well, it wasn't, it took me a while until I could get this take xD

The main reason for multiple resets is that the Basilisks only need 3 hits to defeat you. And it's a 1 vs 5. And they have a pulse attack with a somewhat infinity reach. As you can see, things aren't exactly in your favour.

First I tried attacking the left side and it didn't work, then I attacked the right side and it still didn't work. So I tried being in the air long enough with Jump cancelling/Dankuuken to have 3~4 Basilisks together and then attack. It worked well but their pulse attack can damage you during a jump, making the beginning a bit luck-based with this idea. With my moveset, I didn't have problems to hit their weak point. Maybe Eruption was more situacional than the others, but having a spell could come in handy.
And man, I was so close to a No Damage if I didn't messed up my inputs =(

I have a Splint Armor equipped, which let me recover HP after defeating an enemy (and I can use Gain Swordian Points in other skills).
Stone Jewel is a must to avoid being Stone'd, which basically spells DOOM in a Solo. Of course, if you're going for a No Damage or use items you can equip something else.

About having no voices in the battle, well, that's strange, they work perfectly fine in the scene before and after the battle and in the victory screen. I remember reading that it's associated to Single Play not being able to say in-battle dialogues that would occur normally with a party or something.
