Tales of Rebirth (subbed) Claire Side Part 19: Kinoko
In case anyone is wondering about the subheading for this one, Kinoko is the Japanese word for mushroom.
Also, there's a pun in this segment that I probably need to explain. Here's the literal transalation of the Japanese lines:
Veigue:...Sarcasm (HINIKU...can also mean irony, satire, cynicism) doesn't get through (TSUUJIRU) to this guy.
Mao: Maybe this will lead (TSUUJIRU) to a story about meat (ONIKU)?
...So basically, Mao used a similar-sounding noun (HINIKU and ONIKU) and the same verb but with a different meaning (i.e. TSUUJIRU means "to get through" or "lead to" depending on the context).
Needless to say, I did the best I could in terms of coming up with an English pun (as opposed to translating the Japanese one). There's another pun surrounding the adjective noisy (URUSAI), but I think that one is fairly self-explanatory.
