This one was interesting. I didn't know how similar it was to Adventure Island before I started playing. I did know that Wonder Boy was where the engine for Adventure Island came from because of the Arcade version of Wonder Boy.


The sequels to Wonder Boy are where the two series diverge and Wonder Boy becomes more of an RPG.
