Addressing a public gathering, PM Modi said, "We have heard about the Statue of Liberty as the tallest statue in the world. However, during the fight for the Independence of India, the freedom fighter who took farmers to the mainstream of the fight, was Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. And his statue is in India, which today is the highest statue of the world. It is double the height of the Statue of Liberty.
