Indie game developer Amplitude Studios brings us a fun little gem in the form of Dungeon of the Endless. Crashed out of space, you land on an alien world and are tasked with making it through difficult levels to get the resources so you can escape this hostile world. Battle enemies that spawn in the dark and build up a temporary economy only to have it smashed down time and time again as you escape to each floor. While nothing is specifically complicated about the game, the culmination of all of the various aspects of this game makes it a truly difficult and complicated adventure leaving you wanting more after every play. The resources you collect on the previous floor are your starting resources on the next. To top it all off, a great soundtrack and some decent sound design creates a wonderful atmosphere for a very challenging game. Dungeon of the Endless receives an 8.5/10
