This video was done with the SET 1 of the Alpine Ski roms in MAME.
The game was not set to Twin Galaxies settings, I just kept the default settings (All dips OFF).
Settings:
2000-4000 Point Bonus For A Successful Downhill Jump
2:30 Minute Starting Timer
End of Race Time Bonus 0:10 (contrary to what Mame is displaying)
1st Game Extension @ 25,000 Points
2nd Game Extension @ 12,000 Points
I was surprised by the speed of the clock on round 8. I expected to reach round 10-11.
I will make another video with the TG settings to see what score I can achieve.
On the ski jump, you have a window of 3 frames to make a perfect jump (4000 points)
I'm really not familiar with this game. I know that the path I took could be optimized, I tried to take different paths each round.
I hit 3 flags, 2 of which I should have fixed.
