I got a little interested in this game. At first, it looks like a purely economic optimization game: which crops to harvest to make the most money the fastest. But actually that becomes less relevant when you have an infinite money glitch.

This demo shows off some techniques that are all RTA possible, including ones I didn't see in any of the current records.

1) [New RTA] Fatigue yourself on purpose to wake up later. Worth it if you are vising any place that opens after 9am, and possibly more situations as well.

2) [New RTA-RNG] Make sure Spring 17th is raining. If you can ensure that the day before you want to wake up is raining, it saves 10 or more seconds since you fatigue much faster, even indoors.

3) [New RTA-RNG] Current RTA records spend 5+ minutes foraging. But you can easily win the horse race using just your starting $500 and a little luck. With 3 chances for good betting odds to come up, this shouldn't even be punishing for RTA players to use. Obviously for TAS, it becomes trivial to guarantee a win.

4) [Old] Item duplication dupe. Stay up until 6am, and then open your inventory right when the day changes. When you wake up, you can go to the sales-box, and throw your $2000 earrings in. But by mashing X, you also put the item away at the same time. Thus you can make about $2000 every second.

I think that this should be the start of all RTA runs of this game. Basically, if you follow this outline, you'll be 7 minutes ahead of the marriage RTA, and something like 40+ minutes ahead of the 98% run.
