My first published TAS! This was a mostly arbitrary job of mine I proposed to the Sleeper Games Discord server after I found out it was relatively easy to use libTAS on this game. This is more of a *Superplay* than a Speedrun—it's pretty low-tech for a TAS but I'm proud of it.

_"After much research, the GC finally develops a stable form of short-distance time travel, allowing the pilots of its ships to bend time to their will. Only issue is, this technology is so incredibly expensive and impractical, they can't afford to fit these experimental planes with *anything* but a simple shooter and some flares..._
_What you see is the compressed solution of many quantum timelines nailed together after a catastrophic heist allowed for a record breaking counterattack."_

0% poses a question: can you beat Hyperspace Dogfights without upgrading _at all_ ? The answer is super simple: yes. In fact this is human viable on a later starting loadout that gives you a Railgun, so I wasn't breaking new ground with this TAS. With the weakest starter in the game, though? That's more like it, and in the span of less than 4 hours I had done it: beaten the game with a fresh save file without a single upgrade. It's not _strictly_ 0%—that would be truly impossible what with how starting the game unlocks the first zone, and so on. I may have also preserved some settings, skipping the tutorial in the process(whoops…).

One neat TAS—yet RTA applicable—movement tech I found while routing this was something I dub _Tap Drifting_ . It seems the initial ignition boost of The Paw's only passive Booster Pack stacks a little frighteningly exponentially with strobe-like boost tapping. Strangely though, if you stack this effect by turning, the acceleration from your movements becomes a lot more pronounced, with the capability of throwing you off the screen in the focused camera, which I kept on in this TAS for the sake of cinematics.

- After linking some of the existing libraries to what stdout expected, the Steam release worked fine on libTAS.
