Inspired by PracticalTAS's run with Melee's Target Smash level.

Using Mario, I was able to complete all 5 levels of Target Smash without jumping (Pressing Up on the Control Stick, X, or Y) or pressing A (C-Stick included). The primary way of getting height was mashing Down-B, though I used Wall Jumps in the runs as well.

Wall Jumps are allowed because the only thing required is being next to a wall, in the air, and pressing Left/Right.

Level 1 was easy enough, though the last target required a perfect Down B and two Wall Jumps.

Level 2 was pretty straightforward, with Down-B's and Wall Jumps used frequently in replacement of jumping.

It's the same thing with Level 3. At the beginning, doing anything while you're in the launcher ejects you from it, and gives you a bit of vertical height. It was just for show, though. The Spring at the end also doesn't require any presses.

Level 4 also wasn't that hard, and I also got to have a bit of fun with wavedashing. When facing a slope inclined away from the direction you're facing, you can airdodge completely horizontally, and it gives a much greater speed boost than diagonally downwards. Combine that with the fact that this was an ice level, and you had Mario zipping across the stage from the momentum. It was fun.

Level 5 was the greatest challenge, given that several targets were out of the way. For one of them, I did have to use the Z-Button to throw an item to sucessfully hit it. Z does function exactly like A in this case, so it's up for debate. I tried using Mario's Cape, and it comes extremely close to hitting the target. I also tried building up damage from the spikes in another part of the level in order to launch myself to the target, but the angle is too vertical to do anything about it. I also tried Perfect-Down-B'ing and Wall-Jumping, but that came too short.
