Taz(1983) Atari 2600 Gameplay
Gameplay of the Taz video game on the Atari 2600 based off of said character from Looney Tunes.
Fun fact: Along with this being the first ever Looney Tunes and Asterix games, this is the first ever Atari game where programmers were credited. Before this, Atari never allowed programmers to be credited in games due to being afraid that the programmers would be hired away by other companies, which still happened anyway. Steve Woita, the programmer/developer for the game, threatened to quit unless he was given credit for the game. This gamble paid off and Atari relented, giving him credit for the game on the box cover. He paved the way for other programmers for Atari games to be credited as well.

About this game:
In this arcade game, the player plays as Taz, where you collect food to try and satisfy his insatiable appetite(considering this is an arcade game, good luck with that. But it's pretty accurate to how he is in the shough though lol). Avoid dynamite as they'll cause you to lose a life. Get enough points and the food will change, awarding more points as it changes, but the speed will also increase, increasing the difficulty as well. Getting a certain amount of points also earns extra lives as seen in this video.
