In this episode, I present the contents of the Hobby Boss TBD-1 Devastator 1/48 scale model kit box. This was the US Navy's first all-metal torpedo plane, considered modern in the 1930s, but by 1942 it was obsolete. Its dramatic performance in the Battle of Midway led to its retirement and replacement by the Avenger.
