tbird and dark link strats
400:00 - Quick Kill w/ Shield, Jump, Reflect. If you turn link right to left during the last few hits you increase your chances of a multi hit in case your crouch stabs are a little off.
00:42 - Quick Kill w/ Shield only. This is pretty risky to taking hits because when you get the triple hit off you sit within tbird a lot longer than normal so it's easy to take a random hit here, but two cycles is the fastest you can do this without jump. There's a few ways to get this done but this is my current strat for it.
01:03 - Safe Kill w/ Shield only (in case of low magic level). Same early setup as the quick kill without jump. Make sure you wait for tbird to get to the top of it's vertical movement before you come out left to create a pendulum pattern. Also make sure to stay ahead of tbird when attacking so that it doesn't swoop the opposite way on you! I have a few examples throughout the video of tbird swooping off pattern and fixing it on the fly.
01:50 - Safe Kill w/ Shield + Reflect.
02:58 - Safe Kill w/ Reflect only. Choose which ever spell combination you're most comfortable with!
03:19 - Dark Link Quick Kill. This is a manipulation to keep dark link in a pattern that is consistent. When DL is running in and you go for the falling stab on him, I use his crouch as a visual cue. So as soon as DL stops to crouch is exactly when you should be doing a short hop to stab him on the way down! I recommend watching this part with frame advancement. I also put in a fight that shows DL doing whatever the heck he wants, I delayed before starting the fight to mess up the rng so make sure you're always running straight into this room to try and keep DL's rng the same! sometimes he'll just do whatever he wants regardless though.
I also included some fights of just spamming stabs against DL to show it's a bit slower, make sure you strike as fast as possible and the whole time DL is approaching you to keep him from stabbing through your defense!
