Tchia is an open-world adventure by Awaceb releasing March 21, 2023. The tropical setting is heavily inspired by New Caledonia, where the studio's co-founders, Phil Crifo and Thierry Boura, grew up as childhood friends. The game's hero, Tchia, travels across a fictional archipelago to rescue her kidnapped father and teams up with the island's inhabitants to fight back against the evil spirit Meavora. Armed with her trusty slingshot, a ukelele, a child's curiosity, and a soul-jumping possession ability, she'll trek, swim, swing, and fly across the island in this 10-15 hour adventure.

Tchia is a celebration of New Caledonia and the indigenous Kanak culture in its art, story, and music.
