Ryker stands there on the bridge, alone. A man from space, a space-man, a man with a steam controller in his hands, and the skill to use it to change the world. Riker stares at it, and as he does he sees it. Riker looks at it again, and sees it again. "If there is a universe, there must be many universes." he probably thinks to himself.
He is planetside again, and time flies out of him. He looks up to see the sky is blue and bright, the planet is alive. This is Earth! He smiles, because he loves it, though it is not his home. Not yet. Ryker realizes he hasn't looked at the steam controller in a little bit. He looks at the steam controller.
