One of the helicopter games I thoroughly enjoyed as a kid was Mindscape's Team Apache. Although the flight model leaves a little to be desired, the game felt realistic, and the 3D cockpit was a step above what was available in the Comanche series at the time.
I'm running this on Windows 10. I would recommend using something like Process Lasso to limit the game to running on a single core, in order to render the cut scenes properly.
