this was a map that I made in early November. I kind of made it from scratch and didn't use dev textures. It turns out that that was a bad idea, as the map's layout has several problems. Playtesters found that the control point was too difficult to take back after it had been captured. This is due to the shack over the control point, which offered too much protection to the defenders, the attack routes, which were too separated and acted more as chokepoints, and the long respawn times, which made it difficult for teams to get their bearings after being steamrolled. In addition to this, people were also concerned that the props used for cover ended up getting in the way of combat. I might make an improved version of this map, but the way it has been set up would make it kind of hard to make changes/expand upon the map. So I might just shit-can this design and take what I have learned from it to work on a new layout, I'm not sure yet.
