Hurricane Harvey hit Texas in August 2017, devastating Houston and surrounding areas. This natural disaster became a catalyst for Team Rubicon to modernize its technology infrastructure to be able to better manage their over 80,000 volunteers. Team Rubicon partnered with Microsoft and Wipfli to develop an enterprise-grade volunteer management system built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and connects to Azure, Teams and other tools to create a seamless experience so volunteers and staff can spot and eliminate inefficiencies—all in the name of its mission. The volunteer management system will be made available to nonprofits around the world so that all nonprofits can drive greater impact.
