Welcome to this NES playthrough of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Arcade Game, where I play as Leonardo(or Leo for short). Yeah, the Rocksteady boss fight at the beginning went pretty bad, but I do regain my focus after that. It's pretty hot here where I live....

Like the name says, this is the NES port of the TMNT arcade game that Konami made in 1989. Naturally since TMNT was very popular, that game was ported to multiple systems, this being one of them.

HISTORY LESSON:
This version was released in 1990 by Konami's shell subsidiary company Ultra Games. Reasoning for this was Nintendo's licensing rules, that third-party companies can only release five games in North America during one year. These small companies were made a lot by different game studios, so they could publish more games than just five.
