Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection Part 1. A cowardly abduction. (TMNT II TAG)
Part Synopsis: A fire breaks out in April's apartment complex. Leonardo heads inside, finding the building both heavily engulfed and crawling with Foot Clan soldiers. He fights on, reaching April. Rocksteady breaks in with a drill pod, putting up a short fight before being defeated. Shredder appears, grabbing O'Neil and escaping. Leo chase after them, passing through downtown where more enemies occupy the streets.
Bebop stands guard at the end, being a bit more resilient although ultimately falling. Dropping down into the sewers, even here isn't clear of hostiles. Baxter Stockman in a flying machine serves as the level's boss, supposedly dying when his craft explodes. On a snowy highway, a device is causing the weather to be out of whack. Leo gets to the end, but falters having lost all lives available. A continue is used, which results in a win on the second attempt. The mechanical terminal is destroyed, bringing Spring into full effect.
Let's Play Information: This playthrough is semi-blind. TMNT II, TMNT III and TMNT IV I have already played during the 90's and will be generally familiar with the layouts, enemies and anything else. Any other game covered will be blind. At the moment, I'm not entirely sure every title can or will be shown. Also given the extreme difficulty with such retro experiences, some handicap options may be used as necessary. Every video will feature simultaneous commentary to the gameplay while using a webcam. Footage captured on PS5.
