Tekken 101: Backdash Cancelling

Work on KBD with Bryan, Paul or Nina.
Reason for that is because they have sway, so you can't cheat the kbd input and fall into a trap, also think of it as a sort of workout.
Don't try to kbd too close to your opponent, just hold back or back back
even tournament players you see just holding big fat back instead of fancy cancelling stepdancing back to one corner of the earth. It reduces the room for error and you don't want to give your opponent free hits.

Personally in heated situations I still struggle with this, my hand always wants to move a bit too much, I can tell you from my experience, in this case just hold back. Also only holding back makes it easier to observe and react to opponents offense.
