Playing through Tekken 4 on the Sony PlayStation 2 as Paul Pheonix. This is the sequel to Tekken 3 as it sports new graphics and a darker storyline. For gameplay, all stages now have walls and obstacles as players can use these to their advantage by damaging their opponents with it via a Wall Hit (This occurs when an opponent is one HP away). The game even slows down the combat. However, making combos is still present it this game despite the slower mobility.

I really appreciate Tekken 4 despite it being overshadowed by it's sequel and the two games before it! This is the Tekken game where I can feel the characters struggle and their personal reasons in joining The King Of Iron Fist Tournament 4! Especially characters who aren't named Kazuya, Heihachi or Jin! And after this game for characters who aren't the Mishima Clan story-wise, it all goes downhill in the next game! I'm looking at YOU, Paul! Speaking of Paul, this timestamp would quote the perfect comment regarding about Heihachi's new outfit in the final battle: 17:08
