TEMPEST / G-FORCE (ZX SPECTRUM)
12Zeus presents Tempest (aka G-Force) (un-emulated) for the zx spectrum. A true classic from the golden era of spectrum gaming which must not be forgotten alongside the software house and all programmers that were involved in making this game.
Year of release: 1983
Tempest grids flattened out, this takes the classic shooter from the many 3D view tubes to a standard vertical one, and what a result for the speccy, very fast, fun and addictive game with great animation, effects, playability and gorgeous neon looking graphics,..as close as you'll get to a vector screen without actually having one, (shame the Electric Dreams version didn't have fat bright lines like this, that version the grid lines are too thin and as a result not that colourful), game is a bit on the hard side but a great game none the less, highly recommended!
I have included the last level "32" after i died in the main run of the game at "5:12" just to show you how hard it gets,...i couldn't get passed it.
