Tenshou Tenshi VALFORCE [電装天使ヴァルフォース] Game Sample 2 - PC/Doujin
Original Air Date: January 10, 2010
This is one game that I've been interested in for quite a while. It, like Dysnomia, is a game that plays like Virtual-On (The original). This game even has a "TWIN STICKS" control setup, if you choose to set up your controls in that fashion. It's basically Virtual-On with girls/young women.
The visuals are okay, but they aren't on par in several ways to Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram. The models are decent, but the backgrounds aren't nearly as appealing or large. However, the music is nice (just like Virtual On) and I can see the effort that was put into the game. However, there are two things that REALLY bother me with this game. First, the game (at least at this time) has NO air dash. Air dashes were the main thing that made Virtual On fights epic in my opinion and I like that later Virtual On games added them...to see bullets heading towards you, dash off to the left, and jump in the air and dash left while bullets are just zipping by you and you fire off your own volley of bullets in mid-air while dashing...that's good stuff right there. The second thing...the game is too easy in my opinion.
This is actually my first time playing the game, period, and I must say...I didn't do too bad. The A.I didn't put up any challenge whatsoever...even "Ai", the main girl who fights like Temjin, didn't really possess competent A.I...okay, sorry, that was a bad joke.
Seriously though, the game would be great if it incorporated an air dash feature and if the A.I. was tougher. As is, it's a decent game, but I currently prefer Dysnomia more, even if the controls aren't as user-friendly. In this video, I use Ai Kannagi. Enjoy.
NOTE: This is one of two videos. I complete the game with Ai.
