Kaiten Patissier! [かいてんパティシエ！] Game Sample - PC/Doujin

This is Kaiten Patissier! (also known as Patissier Revolution! and Rotate Gear), yet another game from Alpha Secret Base. The strange thing is that they make fun games, but many don't know about their games, even people who tend to play lots of freeware or indie/doujin games. This particular game plays in a style similar to a couple of games I've played...you can rotate the screen, but not with the freedom like say...Cameltry (On The Ball in the U.S.) from Taito and not entirely like the Japan-only Korokoro Postnin for Playstation. Really, the screen rotation style is more like Blast Chamber, where the rotation is always 90 degrees. Blast Chamber is a game that I kinda enjoy.
KP is another cute game, featuring cute environments, snacks, and a cute girl (with a clear emphasis on big boobs, even in chibi style) named Pipi who loves children. She loves making snacks and is a kind girl with a lovable personality...not to mention her snacks are special. Watch the story segment to find out the rest, blah, blah. One thing that's interesting about this game is that the language can be changed from Japanese to English. However, the game doesn't really have much dialogue (this feature would have been nicer in games like Fairy Attackers and Guardian Twins). Still, it is a nice thing to have.
The game is decent enough, though there is one notable problem that I've come across while playing; depending on how the screen is rotated and when, Pipi can get stuck in walls and even get stuck in areas that shouldn't be accessible normally. Otherwise, the game is O.K. I may end up downloading more games from Alpha Secret Base. One more thing to note is that a version exists where you can play this on your PSP and there is also a "Championship" and an additional edition. Enjoy.
